Bio
Yarborough began his indoor career as a player with the Florence Phantoms before spending time with the Cape Fear Heroes, Triangle Torch, Atlanta Havoc, and the Carolina Cobras, winning several championships along the way.
The new Oilers coach transitioned into coaching in 2019, taking over as head coach of the Carolina Havoc of the American Arena League. Yarborough later became defensive coordinator of the Carolina Cobras in the American Arena League, where he led the team to the league’s third-ranked defense in his first season and the top-ranked defense in his second, helping guide the Cobras to the championship game.
"Adding Yarborough is amazing for our staff," said head coach Marvin Jones. "He has a lot of experience and knows the game well and is great with players. My goal is for the Oilers to be the best, and I am not going to stop until we are."
